Felix Girke

Felix Girke is an anthropologist and post-doctoral researcher at the Center of Excellence 16 'Cultural Foundations of Social Integration' at University of Konstanz, Germany. His research primarily focuses on the politics of heritage in contemporary Myanmar, with particular attention to urban heritage conservation and the translation of heritage concepts across cultural contexts.

His research interests span Anthropology, Heritage Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, Myanmar Studies, Cultural Politics, Urban Heritage, and Rhetoric.
