Dr. Kavi Jagadamma is a Senior Lecturer at Queen Margaret University (QMU), affiliated with the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division. He holds a PhD and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on neurological rehabilitation, gait analysis, and promoting physical activity in populations with long-term conditions like cerebral palsy and stroke. He leads and collaborates on funded projects, including studies on community-based exercise for stroke survivors and barriers to physical activity in children with cerebral palsy.

Research interests include 3D motion analysis, rehabilitation technologies, and interventions to improve quality of life. He is an Associate Member of the Centre for Health, Activity and Rehabilitation Research and the Centre for Person-Centred Practice Research. Dr. Jagadamma teaches modules in neurosciences, audit methodologies, and enterprise in healthcare, with a focus on decolonizing curricula and technology-enhanced learning. He co-directs the Health Design Collective CIC, a social enterprise recognized in the Converge Challenge.
His funded projects include grants from the Edinburgh Lothian Health Foundation and QMU Innovation Fellowships. He supervises student projects on neurological conditions and has contributed to program development, including MSc Musculoskeletal Medicine and pre-registration physiotherapy programs.
