Mary Cramp is the Director for Research and Enterprise at the School of Health and Social Well-being and an Associate Professor specializing in Long Term Conditions at the University of the West of England (UWE). She holds HCPC registration as a physiotherapist with expertise in movement dysfunction and neurological rehabilitation.
- Qualifications: PhD, MSc, PGCert(HE), BSc(Hons), MCSP
Her research focuses on biomechanical and physiological aspects of movement, particularly in conditions like cerebral palsy and stroke rehabilitation. She leads projects such as FREEHAB (EPSRC-funded) and serves as the Nursing, Midwifery, and Allied Health Professions Lead for NIHR Applied Research Collaboration West.
Mary oversees the UWE Bristol Human Analysis Laboratory for clinical gait analysis and collaborates with the Bristol Robotics Laboratory and Rehabilitation Research Group. She supervises postgraduate students researching neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.
