Sarah Bond

Miss Sarah Bond is a part-time Lecturer in the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division at Queen Margaret University (QMU). She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and an MSc in Human Anatomy. Her clinical background includes 3.5 years as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in New Zealand, working with elite and amateur sports teams, and continued private practice in Edinburgh. Bond is pursuing a part-time PhD focusing on increasing physical activity in children with Cerebral Palsy, emphasizing family-centered barriers to rehabilitation. She collaborates on the PEDAL trial with Dr. Cathy Bulley and is actively involved in research and presentation of her MSc work on bone anchors for flexor digitorum profundus repair. Her teaching specializes in anatomy, employing innovative methods like body painting and modeling to engage students. Affiliations include MCSP, MPNZ, and MBAHT.
