Georgia Andreopoulou

Georgia Andreopoulou is a Physiotherapy Research Fellow at Queen Margaret University (QMU), affiliated with the Division of Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Radiography. Her research focuses on walking impairments in neurological populations, particularly foot drop and fatigability in multiple sclerosis (MS) and cardiometabolic benefits of RaceRunning in cerebral palsy.

• Education: MSc in Human Movement Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam; PhD in MS-related mobility impairments from QMU

Current research involves 3D motion analysis in MS patients, functional electrical stimulation (FES) applications, and RaceRunning interventions for cerebral palsy. She emphasizes psychometric properties of walking assessment tools.
