Cathy Bulley

Cathy Bulley is a Professor at the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division of Queen Margaret University. She serves as Head of the Graduate School and Co-director of the Centre for Health, Activity and Rehabilitation Research (CHEARR). Bulley co-founded the Health Design Collective, a social enterprise focused on developing accessible healthcare products like footwear for footdrop, integrating research, innovation, and enterprise.

Research interests center on foot drop, orthotic devices (particularly functional electrical stimulation), user-centred design, and the application of artificial intelligence to person-centred health decision-making.
