Catherine McClintick

Catherine McClintick is a Programme Leader, Lecturer, Practice Placement Coordinator, QMU Manual Handling Lead, and Radiation Protection Supervisor in the Dietetics, Nutrition & Biological Sciences, Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Radiography Division at Queen Margaret University. She holds qualifications including a MSc in Diagnostic Imaging, BSc in Radiography, and PGc in Image Interpretation. Her roles involve coordinating clinical placements, delivering manual handling training, and overseeing student development in diagnostic and therapeutic radiography programs.

Education includes a Diploma of the College of Radiographers (1989), BSc Conversion Course (QMU), and MSc from Glasgow Caledonian University. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (2014).

Research interests focus on clinical reporting, professional practice, technology-enhanced learning, and manual handling safety. She actively contributes to ethics committees and supervises research projects. Affiliations include the Health and Care Professions Council, Society and College of Radiography, and Reporting Radiographers Interest Group Scotland.
