Katy Didden is an Associate Professor of English and Director of Creative Writing at Ball State University. She specializes in poetry exploring text-image relationships, elegy history, and environmental themes. Her work has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Prize for her book The Glacier’s Wake (2013). She currently holds a grant for research in Iceland, focusing on a mixed-media manuscript titled The Lava on Iceland.

Her research interests span environmental poetry, erasure techniques, and the intersection of poetry with visual art.
