Professor Kate Brown is a Professor of Social Policy and Criminal Justice at the University of York’s School for Business and Society. She co-directs the £10 million ESRC Vulnerability and Policing Futures Research Centre, focusing on improving services for vulnerable populations through research. Her work bridges academic and practical insights gained from over a decade in the voluntary sector, including roles supporting sex workers and victims of exploitation.
