Kareem Clarke is an Assistant Professor at Berklee College of Music, affiliated with the Contemporary Writing and Production department. A Brooklyn-based DJ and music producer, he actively contributes to the Boston DJ scene and has performed at major venues and events including TEDxBerkleeValencia and SXSW 2017.
His expertise spans music production, orchestration, and songwriting, with a focus on electronic/dance music and TV/brand soundtracks. He founded the deep house/techno label Digital Den Records in 2016 and teaches courses like Composing and Producing Electronic Music 1 and Performing with Ableton Live.
Clarke holds a BA in Engineering Studies from Lafayette College and dual graduate degrees (MA in Global Entertainment and Music Business, MM in Music Technology Innovation) from Berklee. His creative philosophy emphasizes adaptive workflows for the evolving music industry.
