Adai Song (宋黛霆) is an Instructor in the Songwriting and Production department at Berklee College of Music's NYC campus. She holds a Master of Arts in Songwriting and Production from Berklee NYC (2022) and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles (2016). Her work blends Chinese/Pan-Asian musical roots with electronic elements, earning her international acclaim as a singer, producer, DJ, and songwriter. She has collaborated with major labels like Sony/ATV, Universal Music Group China, and Tencent Music Entertainment, and contributed to projects across theater, film, TV, and video games. Notable achievements include producing UMG China artist Sunnee Yang and participating in the China-Denmark 70th Anniversary album Nordic Echo. With over 60 million streams on Chinese platforms and a strong social media presence, Song also teaches courses at Berklee and advocates for women in the music industry.
Her research interests focus on cross-cultural music fusion and modern production techniques, reflecting her dual expertise in traditional Asian musicality and contemporary electronic artistry. Song’s career bridges artistic creativity with industry innovation, making her a prominent figure in global electropop and C-pop scenes.
