Kalpana Sivabalah serves as a Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University Mauritius Campus, where she coordinates the LLM (General) and LLM (International Business Law) programs. She holds a DPhil in Law from the University of Oxford, a BCL, and BA in Jurisprudence from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Her research investigates the divide between public and private law frameworks.

- Public Law
- Legal Research Skills
Awards include the Oxford-Farthing Graduate Scholarship. Prior to academia, she practiced law in Malaysia.
