Jussi Taipale

Jussi Taipale serves as Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Helsinki, Finland, and supervises the Doctoral Programme in Integrative Life Science. With 112 research publications to date, his work bridges molecular biology and clinical cancer research from his Biocenter 2 laboratory.

His research focuses on transcriptional regulation mechanisms, oncogene function, and cancer genomics, with particular expertise in structural analysis of transcription factor-DNA interactions and multi-omics approaches to tumor biology. Recent work reveals common pathways across diverse oncogenes and explores interferon signaling in chemotherapy resistance.
