Julie Van Sickle serves as a Lecturer in the School of Education at California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, with additional teaching roles in the College of Natural Resources. She also directs the Humboldt Natural History Museum and instructs a local elementary school's gifted education program for 4th-6th graders.
As a Cal Poly Humboldt alumna, she maintains deep institutional and community ties, contributing to interdisciplinary academic initiatives and regional educational outreach.
