Dr. Judith Ofcarcik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Music Theory at James Madison University's School of Music. Her research focuses on formal function, narrative analysis, and Beethoven's late variation movements, alongside contributions to music theory pedagogy. She holds a PhD in Music Theory from Florida State University (2013), an M.M. in Organ Performance from Indiana University (2009), and a B.M. in Flute Performance from Eastern Illinois University (2006).
