معرفی
Dr. Juan Young is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University's Yale School of Medicine. He holds an MD from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay College of Medicine (2013) and an MHS in Geriatrics from Yale School of Medicine (2022). His research focuses on neuroinflammation, inflammaging, and their roles in Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related neurodegenerative disorders. He completed residencies in psychiatry (Case Western Reserve University) and geriatric psychiatry (Yale School of Medicine).
Research interests include synaptic density alterations in Alzheimer’s, immune system interactions with neurocognition, and biomarkers of aging. Collaborators include Insoo Kang, Min Shin, and Richard Bucala. He received the ADRC Grant (2022) for Alzheimer’s research. His work spans clinical epidemiology, immunology, and translational neuroscience.
