John Navin is a Professor of History at Coastal Carolina University's Edwards College, specializing in Early American history. His research explores race, warfare, gender, and colonization impacts in early America, with a focus on interdisciplinary perspectives. He has taught at Brandeis and Pfeiffer Universities prior to joining CCU in 1999.
