Johanne Thompson is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Kent's Kent Law School. She holds multiple roles including Deputy Director of Education for Stage 1, Director for Value and Stage 2 Revision Conference, and Deputy Director of Admissions with Canadian responsibilities. She graduated from the University of Kent with an LLM in Law.
Her teaching focuses on Criminal Law, Advanced Criminal Law, Performing Effectively in Law, and Client Interviewing Skills. She also convenes modules on legal skills and Client Interviewing.
Externally, she serves as Regional Director for the SE region of the Client Interviewing Competition for England and Wales, and judges national and international legal skills competitions (client interviewing, mooting, negotiation).
