Dr. Magda Karagiannakis is a Senior Lecturer at the Law School of La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and has extensive experience as an international lawyer, barrister, and academic. Her primary affiliations include La Trobe University, where she coordinates the Juris Doctor program and oversees the mooting program, and the Victorian Legal Admissions Board (VLAB), where she served as a statutory member for over six years. She has also contributed to international legal frameworks through roles such as prosecutor in the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and legal advisor to the UN Inquiry in Lebanon.
Dr. Karagiannakis' research focuses on international criminal law, public international law, and corporate accountability.
