Adrienne Ringin is a Teaching Fellow in the Law Department at La Trobe University (Melbourne, Australia), serving a fixed-term appointment from April 2024 to March 2026. She holds a Juris Doctor (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Arts (2010-2012) from the University of Melbourne, complemented by a Graduate Diploma in Legal Training from The College of Law. Her research focuses on international criminal law through a feminist lens, particularly the intersection of gender and legal frameworks. Current projects include a PhD examining the Rome Statute negotiations from Australia’s perspective, as well as contributions to the Feminist Judgments: Re-imagining the International Criminal Court and Queer Encounters with International Law initiatives.
Her teaching portfolio includes courses on International Criminal Justice (LCR3ICR) and Principles of Public Law (LAW1PPL). Research outputs span topics like gender persecution, legal consent frameworks, and discrimination law in Australia. Collaborations include co-authorship with scholars like K. McLoughlin and J. Meredith on issues of international law and human rights.
