Joe Eisenmann is a Professor in the Department of Exercise Science at Saint Xavier University's School of Nursing and Health Sciences. With 30 years of experience, he has served as a professor, researcher, sport scientist, and strength & conditioning director, focusing on youth health, sports performance, and applied sports science. He previously directed Spartan Performance at Michigan State University and collaborated with major sports organizations like USA Football and the English Premier League.

Eisenmann's research centers on youth health and fitness, long-term athlete development, and biological maturation. He has published extensively on these topics, particularly in journals like ACSM Health & Fitness Journal and Journal of Sports Sciences, with a focus on translating scientific findings into practical applications for youth sports.
His recent work explores bio-banding, evidence-based practice in elite sports, and musculoskeletal fitness benchmarks. Eisenmann has received recognition as a Visiting Professor and chair of the National Strength & Conditioning Association's LTAD Special Interest Group, reflecting his leadership in sports science and youth athlete development.
