Brad Leshinske is a faculty member at Saint Xavier University within the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, serving as Divisional Director of the Health Sciences Division. He coordinates the Exercise Science and Sports and Fitness Administration programs and has taught courses ranging from introductory exercise science to advanced strength and conditioning theory.
- Education: Ph.D. and M.S. in Health Science from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions; B.S. in Exercise Science from North Park University.
Leshinske specializes in Sports Science, focusing on Strength and Conditioning, Human Performance, and Functional Movement Screen (FMS) applications in youth and high school athletics. His recent research explores periodization models, load management, and data-driven readiness assessments for athletes.
Notable scientific awards include the Merit Award Winner for Teaching in 2021. He actively contributes to professional organizations, such as the National Strength and Conditioning Association and the International Youth Conditioning Association, and has delivered numerous presentations on sports performance and program design.
