Dr. Jia Wang is a Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia (2004). Her research focuses on critical HRD topics including cross-cultural HRD, workplace learning, crisis management, workplace incivility, and career/family issues. She has authored 55+ peer-reviewed articles, 1 book, and 9 book chapters, and delivered over 160 conference presentations. As a renowned educator, she has mentored 35 Ph.D. students and over 130 MS students. Dr. Wang is a recipient of prestigious awards such as the Texas A&M University Presidential Impact Fellow (2020-2023) and the Academy of Human Resource Development’s Distinguished Service Award (2013).

Recent Projects: Recent grants include studies on international student integration (TAMU PESCA, 2018-2019) and faculty experiences of mobbing by students (TAMU T3, 2018-2020). She has also led initiatives to enhance STEM education equity and crisis management in higher education.
