Khalil Dirani

Dr. Khalil M. Dirani is a Professor and Department Head of Educational Administration & Human Resource Development at Texas A&M University (TAMU), where he holds the JL & Sidney Huffines `44 Endowed Chair. Previously, he served as Assistant and Associate Professor of HRD at the University of Georgia, following his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His research focuses on learning organizations, talent development in global contexts, and interdisciplinary team collaborations. He leads the Gulf of Mexico and Soil-for-Society Networks, and has held roles like Past-President of the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD).

Dr. Dirani’s academic leadership includes editorial board memberships for Advances in Developing Human Resources and Human Resource Development International. His teaching spans courses like Organizational Learning and Training & Development in HRD. He has advised doctoral students such as Mehrangiz Zadegh Abadi and Bhagyashree Barhate.
