Jens Timmermann is a Professor of Moral Philosophy at the University of St Andrews, affiliated with the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies. His research focuses on ethical theory, ancient philosophy, aesthetics, and the philosophy of Immanuel Kant. He holds a Dr.phil from the University of Göttingen. His recent work explores moral dilemmas, the philosophy of humor, and theories of justice.
