Professor Jennie Ponsford is the Director of the Monash-Epworth Rehabilitation Research Centre (MERRC) and Theme Lead of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation theme at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health, Monash University. She is also Director of Clinical Programs and convenes the doctoral training program in clinical neuropsychology.

Research Interests focus on traumatic brain injury (TBI) rehabilitation, cognitive deficits, sleep disturbance, fatigue, psychiatric outcomes, and telehealth interventions. She pioneered international studies on TBI comorbidities, cultural influences on recovery, and community-based rehabilitation models.
Scientific Awards include the Robert L. Moody Prize (2013), Officer of the Order of Australia (2017), Australian Psychological Society awards (2018-2019), and the Dirk Bakker Visiting Professorship (2020). She was recognized as Australia's most cited scientist in rehabilitation therapy (2020).
Teaching and Supervision includes Monash postgraduate courses in neuropsychology and clinical practice, along with non-HDR supervisions for students like Hannah Perry and Lucas Thoma. Her work aligns with UN SDGs for health and well-being.
