Jeff Skopek is a Professor of Law and Deputy Director of the Centre for Law, Medicine and Life Sciences at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Law. He is also affiliated with the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law (CIPIL). His research focuses on health law, particularly the conceptualization of harm/benefit in medical care, healthcare systems, and biomedical research. Current projects include AI in healthcare and animal rights. He holds a JD from Harvard, a PhD/MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from Cambridge, and an AB in History from Stanford, supported by Truman, Fulbright, and Gates scholarships.
