Jackie Clarke

Dr Jackie Clarke is a Reader in Consumer Behaviour and Marketing at the Oxford Brookes Business School, affiliated with the Oxford School of Hospitality Management. She holds a PhD from the University of Surrey and has extensive industry experience in marketing and corporate planning within the travel and tourism sectors. Her academic roles include research leadership, doctoral supervision, and teaching across postgraduate and undergraduate programs in hospitality and tourism management.

Publications span 20+ years, addressing themes like repeat tourist behavior, experiential gifts, and stakeholder-driven sustainability frameworks. Recent work explores Chinese domestic tourism spatial behavior and cross-cultural gift card usage between Russia and the UK.
