Kate Mingjie Ji is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and Revenue Management at Oxford Brookes Business School, University of Oxford Brookes. She holds a PhD in Tourism Management from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham. Her research focuses on tourist behavior, including embodied experiences, spatial patterns, and pricing strategies. She has secured multiple grants, such as the British Academy-funded project on managing tourist congestion and a National Natural Science Foundation of China grant. She co-supervises PhD students exploring Chinese female solo tourists and social media in travel experiences. Her work has been recognized with Best Paper Awards at the CHME Conference 2016.
