Ida Nafstad is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Sociology of Law Department at Lund University. She holds a PhD in Criminology from the University of Oslo and has been affiliated with Lund University since 2013. Her research focuses on law and marginalization, postcolonialism, legal pluralism, and transformative justice. She coordinates the Master's Programme in Sociology of Law and leads a research project on the social construction of parallel societies in Swedish public discourse.
