Dr. Holly Crossen-White is a Principal Academic in Public Health at Bournemouth University, affiliated with the BU Centre for Public Health and the School of Health and Social Care. She leads the MSc Public Health program and has over 20 years of experience in qualitative research focused on public health, social innovation, and technology-enhanced learning.

- BA (Hons) in Public Administration (Leicester Polytechnic, 1992)
Her research spans public health evaluations, nature-based wellbeing interventions (e.g., Forest Bathing), and digital archive engagement. Recent publications focus on social innovation for aging populations, health policy, and technology in education. She has collaborated with organizations like the RSPB and Alzheimer’s Society.
Dr. Crossen-White has received a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (2019) and led the EU-funded SAIL Project (2017-2020) under the Interreg 2 Seas program. She has actively participated in public engagement initiatives, including the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences and the 'Wild Watching' consultancy for dementia care.
