Henry Cooney

Henry Cooney is an Adjunct Research Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Western Australia Law School, specializing in private law research and teaching. He concurrently serves as a Solicitor at the State Solicitor's Office of Western Australia. His primary research areas include the law of unjust enrichment, trusts, contract law, tort law, and equitable remedies. His work has been cited by the High Court of Australia and leading legal academics.

Research interests focus on theoretical and practical dimensions of unjust enrichment, constructive trusts, and legal causation. He has published in high-impact journals such as the Law Quarterly Review, Lloyd's Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly, and the Australian Law Journal.
