Dr. Felicity Maher is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia (UWA) Law School, specializing in private law areas such as unjust enrichment, contract law, equity, and commercial remedies. She teaches Equity & Trusts and coordinates the Remedies unit. Previously, she practiced law in Australia and the UK, including roles as a solicitor, judicial assistant to Lord Phillips, parliamentary counsel, barrister, and legal academic. Her doctoral research focused on unjust enrichment's 'failure of basis' doctrine.
Education: BA, LLB (UWA), BCL, MPhil, DPhil (Oxford). She holds memberships at 3 Verulam Buildings Chambers (London) and contributed to the New South Wales Law Reports. Research interests include banking law, insolvency, and legal remedies, often addressing gaps between theory and practice.
