Greta Schoneman is an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Clarkson College. She holds a BSPTA from Riverland Community College, a BSPTA from Pima Medical Institute, and an MS in Sports and Health Sciences from American Public University. Her clinical expertise spans Skilled Nursing Facilities, pediatrics, home health, and outpatient clinics, with specialized certifications in Lymphedema Therapy (CLT), APTA Credentialed Clinical Instructor, and Parkinson’s disease interventions (LSVT BIG, PWR!, Rock Steady Boxing).

Research interests focus on interprofessional education, neurological rehabilitation, and improving mobility for Parkinson’s patients through community programs. Her scholarly work includes presentations on clinical education innovation and Parkinson’s interventions.
She was nominated for the 2019 Clarkson College Faculty Senate Excellence in Teaching Award. As a mentor, she advises PTA students and contributes to institutional committees like the Faculty Senate and Student Support Committee, while serving on the PTA Department’s Advisory Board.
She teaches courses such as Clinical Readiness (PTA 111) and oversees clinical practicums (PTA 241, 246). Her academic contributions emphasize hands-on clinical preparation and interprofessional collaboration.
