Jessica Wissink, PT, DPT, is an Assistant Professor at Clarkson College. She joined the Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2019 and holds academic and clinical expertise in physical therapy, with certifications in LSVT BIG, Hawkgrips, Kinesiology Taping, and Functional Dry Needling. Dr. Wissink actively participates in institutional committees such as Interprofessional Education, PTA Advisory Board, Faculty Senate, and Orientation Day Workgroup.
Education includes a Bachelor’s in Human Biology and Psychology from the University of Kansas, a Master’s in Health Services Administration from Creighton University, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Creighton University. Her teaching spans courses like Advanced Neurological Interventions, Women’s Health, and Aging in Healthcare.
Her research and presentations focus on clinical education innovation, interprofessional collaboration, and evidence-based practice. Notable recognition includes the 2024 Dr. Patricia Perry Faculty of the Year award.
