Jessica Goodman, PT, DPT, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Chair of Curriculum in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions in Phoenix. She leads academic service learning initiatives at the St. Vincent de Paul Medical Clinic, providing interdisciplinary care to uninsured patients. Her teaching focuses on Medical Imaging and integrated lab courses, and she contributes to Clinical Education programming. Dr. Goodman is certified in Musculoskeletal Sonography (RMSK) by the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA).
Education: She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Creighton University and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership Policy from Texas Tech University.
Research Interests: Dr. Goodman’s work centers on outcomes of academic service learning, interprofessional education, PT/PTA collaboration, and ultrasound imaging applications in clinical practice. She actively engages with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) at state and national levels to advocate for Physical Therapy outreach and educational innovation.
Professional Contributions: She coordinates interdisciplinary training programs, integrates community service into academic curricula, and promotes evidence-based practices through her RMSK certification and clinical education leadership.
