Stefany Shaibi

Stefany Shaibi, PT, DPT, EdD, OCS, GCS, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University’s School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She holds board certifications as a clinical geriatric and orthopedic specialist (emeritus). Her academic roles include teaching in orthopedic curricula and integrating geriatric content across programs. She completed a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Arizona State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Southern California, alongside bachelor’s degrees from Arizona State University.

Dr. Shaibi’s research focuses on health disparities in elderly populations and educational challenges faced by first-generation college students and junior faculty. She is a 2023 recipient of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership.
