Stefany Shaibi

Stefany Shaibi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Creighton University's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Southern California and a Doctor of Education (EdD) from Arizona State University, along with bachelor's degrees from Arizona State University. Dr. Shaibi is a board-certified clinical geriatric and orthopedic specialist-emeritus.

Her teaching focuses on orthopedic curriculum areas and integrating geriatric content. Research interests include health disparities in elderly populations, educational challenges for first-generation students, and mentorship for junior faculty. She completed the APTA Fellowship in Higher Education Leadership in 2023.

Dr. Shaibi's professional contributions span clinical practice, academic leadership, and interprofessional education. Her work bridges geriatric care, orthopedics, and educational equity, with a focus on advancing healthcare through evidence-based practice and inclusive learning environments.
