Karen Abboud is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Clarkson College, teaching in both associate and bachelor programs. She previously served as Director of Clinical Education (2016–2023) and as a science faculty member in the Academic Travel Abroad program (2018–2021, 2023). Currently, she chairs the Clarkson College Alumni Board. Her academic leadership spans clinical education, interprofessional collaboration, and healthcare administration.

Recent Scholarly Trends: Her presentations address virtual collaboration, clinical competency evaluation, and interprofessional teamwork. She has reviewed editions of key PTA textbooks and co-authored studies on student training and clinical practice integration.
