Katherine (Kat) Pursell, PTA, MHA, serves as an Instructor in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Clarkson College since 2021. She previously held the role of Alumni Coordinator at the institution from 2020. Pursell holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History and Theatre from the University of West Florida, an Associate's degree in PTA, and a Master's in Healthcare Administration from Clarkson College.
Her clinical expertise includes outpatient orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation. She transitioned from the theater industry to healthcare, driven by a commitment to Clarkson College's Mission and Values emphasizing ethical patient care and academic excellence. Her interdisciplinary background combines arts, clinical practice, and healthcare administration.
