Katherine Fuller, MSN, RN, is an Associate Professor in the Undergraduate Nursing program at Clarkson College since 2011. She earned her BSN and MSN degrees from Clarkson College and is currently a doctoral candidate there. Her career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) during high school, evolving into roles in medical/surgical nursing and home healthcare. She joined Clarkson College due to her belief in the institution’s educational rigor and has since focused on nursing education and clinical mentorship.

Research & Interests: Dr. Fuller specializes in nursing education methodologies, particularly simulation-based learning, clinical teaching strategies, and the integration of technology in healthcare training. She advocates for evidence-based approaches to prepare nurses for real-world challenges.
Teaching & Leadership: She instructs courses such as NRS 125- Fundamentals of Nursing: Theory, NRS 126- Fundamentals of Nursing: Clinical, and supervises the Undergrad Nursing Skills Lab. Her work emphasizes hands-on learning and preceptorship programs for student nurses.
Community Engagement: She volunteers with Restoring Dignity (supporting refugees in Omaha), actively participates in her children’s school PTA, and is a member of the Nebraska League of Nursing.
