Kristen Villarreal, MSN, RN, is an Associate Professor at Clarkson College, where she has taught since 2015. She coordinates the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program and focuses on nursing education and community health. Her academic journey includes an ADN from College of Saint Mary (2005), an MSN in Nurse Educator from Nebraska Methodist College (2014), and a Doctor of Education in Public Health Policy (2023).

Dr. Villarreal has received notable awards, including the 2023 Patricia Book Perry Faculty Scholarship and the 2024 Maltese Cross Service Award. She teaches courses such as NRS 339, NRS 355, and NRS 357, emphasizing professional practice and physical assessment in nursing.
