Heather Shattuck

Heather Shattuck is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Clarkson University’s Lewis School of Health & Life Sciences. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Utica College (2016), and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from D’Youville College (1999).

Dr. Shattuck specializes in pediatric physical therapy, with a focus on hypermobility and virtual reality applications in rehabilitation, as well as early identification of developmental delays in children. She integrates pediatric expertise into the curriculum at Clarkson University.

Dr. Shattuck has earned certifications as a Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist (ABPTS, 2013) and a Biomechanics Specialist (NESTA, 2024). She serves on the APTA Pediatric Section CSM Planning Committee and the Clarkson University Faculty Senate, and is a coach for children with special needs and avid hiker.
