Gregor Kranjc is an Associate Professor of History at Brock University, specializing in modern European history with a geographic focus on East Central Europe and the Balkans. His research explores war and society, historical trauma, ethnic minorities, and environmental conflict. He holds degrees from McGill University (B.A.), and the University of Toronto (M.A., Ph.D.).

Experience: Previously served as Senior Historian (Balkan Specialist) at the Canadian Department of Justice (2007–2009), Visiting Assistant Professor at William & Mary (2009–2011), and Assistant Professor at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (2011–2012). Teaches courses on terrorism, genocide, nationalism, and military occupations.
