Dr. Lee Windsor is an Associate Professor in the Historical Studies department at the University of New Brunswick. He holds the Fredrik S. Eaton Chair in Canadian Army Studies and co-directs the Brigadier Milton Gregg VC Centre for the Study of War and Society. His research focuses on Canadian military involvement in multinational operations, including World Wars and UN/NATO missions in the Balkans, Middle East, and Afghanistan. Windsor also leads field study programs in Sicily, Italy, and Western Europe.

Teaching spans undergraduate/graduate courses on warfare history, including specialized seminars on World Wars and unconventional warfare. Overseas field schools integrate historical sites into experiential learning.
Advising and grants involve supervision of military history students and program development with the Canadian Armed Forces. Current initiatives include War and the Canadian Experience teacher development programs.
