Gavin Davenport is a Lecturer in Primary and Childhood Education at Edge Hill University, specializing in Primary Computing and pedagogical innovation. He has 17 years of teaching experience across various phases of education, including EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2, and Secondary SEND settings, with additional training in reading intervention from UCL.

Collaborations: Worked with Liverpool Philharmonic, Creative Partnerships, and holds roles as Executive Committee Member of the Technology, Pedagogy and Education Association and Senior Professional Development Lead at STEM Learning Limited.
Grants/Projects: Led the 2024 project “Keystage 2 Curriculum content – Careers in Computing,” funded by public grants to integrate computing career education.
