Amanda Casey is a Senior Lecturer and Assistant Pathway Leader in Early Years Education at Edge Hill University. She teaches on both the Primary 3-7 Post Graduate and Under Graduate programmes, focusing on curriculum design and Personal Professional Development (PPD). Her roles span teaching, mentoring school-based mentors for trainee teachers, and advancing educational strategies.
Education:
- B.Ed (Hons) in Education with English and Foundation Mathematics, University of Liverpool (1990–1994)
- Current: Pursuing a Master’s in Teaching and Learning at Edge Hill University
Research Interests: Amanda prioritizes early years learning in EYFS settings, interactive practical activities in primary English/Mathematics, and student mental health support. She advocates for nurturing educational environments facilitated by informed educators.
