Evan Robinson

Evan Robinson is a Lecturer in the Department of Music & Theater at West Liberty University within the College of Liberal and Creative Arts. He is an accomplished trombonist with experience as a performer, educator, and chamber musician.

• Education: Master of Music from University of Georgia; studied at Manhattan School of Music under Stephen Norrell, John Swallow, and independently with William Brown, James Nova, Norman Bolter
• Performance History: Principal trombone of Orquesta Filarmonica de Queretaro, AIMS Music Festival in Graz, Westchester Chamber Orchestra; performed with Macon Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Gregg Smith Singers, and others
• Recordings: Mahler Symphony No. 3 with Manhattan School of Music Orchestra, Wendy Chambers' 'Mass for Mass Trombones,' soundtrack for PBS' 'Dora the Explorer,' Albert Hammond Jr. music
