Christopher Houlding

Prof. Christopher Houlding is a distinguished trombonist and educator currently serving as Professor of Trombone and Brass Ensemble at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen, Germany, and as Visiting Tutor at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music, he has held principal trombone positions with major ensembles like the Opera North Orchestra and performs globally with groups such as the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Brass of London.
