Anthony Weikel III serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Music at Capital University, with additional adjunct low brass instructor roles at Otterbein University and Cedarville University. He maintains a private trombone studio serving students across Columbus-area school districts.

A dedicated trombonist, Weikel specializes in orchestral and chamber performance. He holds the position of second trombone with the Springfield Symphony and serves as a regular substitute with the Wheeling Symphony, while maintaining extensive freelance experience across four cities. His performance repertoire spans opera (Pittsburgh Opera), Broadway productions, church services, and symphonic works with ensembles including the Louisville Orchestra and Columbus Symphony.
Weikel actively contributes to chamber music as a member of the Village Brass Quintet, Sequenza Trombone Quartet, and Ohio Trombone Quartet—performing at the International Trombone Festival and Ohio Music Education Association Conference. As an educator, he teaches applied trombone, trombone choir, and trombone quartet while conducting master classes throughout the Midwest under the mentorship of renowned trombonists including Peter Ellefson and Joe Duchi.
